Simple Sisterlock Bun

This bun is something I have done a few times before.  I was a little easier since my hair is a bit longer.

Experimenting with twists and basket weave.

As you may notice I have washed out or faded my color doing ACV rinses.  This is a lesson learned.  When I get my hair recolored in February I will refrain from doing ACV rinses.

Blonde roots and dark ends

Reti Day - 2 Years/7 Months/4 Weeks

Today was retie day for me.  My consultant (Angie Childs) used my pics for Sisterlock recertification.  What an honor!  These curls are left over from the curl set in my previous post.  These Wrap-A-Loc curls lasts forever.  

I'm trying to decide what to do about the color.  I'm not going to bleach my dark edges.  I am going to continue to color the roots blonde until most of my hair is blonde with two tone dark edges.  To be honest I wanted to color my hair black, but my consultant talked me out of it.  Black look so much healthier and has more sheen.  What do you think?

Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!  I curled my hair about a week ago using the Wrap-A-Loc Tool.  I did the pin-up in the back using the FlexiClip.  I'm on the fence with the color because it starts out the exact color I want and about a week later it is a different color.  Let me know what you think about the color.  The alternative for me is all black because black locs look so healthy and beautiful to me.
